Six Layer Dinner

Butter a large pan. Place the following in layers:

Sliced raw potatoes
1 onion chopped
1/2 C. uncooked rice
Carrots or peas
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Green pepper

Top with a quart of tomatoes, 1 tsp. salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 2 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
